  • David Bixler and Marylou Buyse Distinguished Scientist Awards, sponsored by Developmental Dynamics.
  • Scientific sessions on “Human Genetics of Craniofacial Variation and Disease” (Dr. William Dobyns, University of Minnesota), “Evolutionary Connections – Genetics, Genomics and Development” (Dr. Craig Miller, University of California Berkeley), “Signaling Mechanisms Underlying Craniofacial Development and Disorders” (Dr. David Clouthier, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus), “Systems Biology of Craniofacial Development and Disease” (Dr. Laura Kerosuo, National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research) and “Clinical and Patient Perspectives” (Dr. Ethylin Jabs, Mayo Clinic). 
  • Workshops

Additional platform talks will be selected from submitted abstracts. A poster session will be held on September 30th and prizes will be given for best poster presentations by postdoctoral trainees and graduate students, sponsored by the American Association for Anatomy.
